Sister Indica is a multi-media drag artist and political activist living in Portland, Oregon.
In late 2008 (after years of toiling away on music and other forms of media), she joined a non-profit organization known as The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. As a member of the Order, she used her media savvy to draw awareness to the various Houses she belonged to and the underfunded charities and political causes they supported. In 2018, after a decade of service, she decided it was best to permanently sever ties with the organization.
While she no longer associates with the Sisters, she recognizes the impact she was able to make on many under-funded organizations and the lives of countless people through the Ministry, fundraising efforts and political activism she did with them.
Sister Indica, as a solo 'drag nun' (or 'rogue nun'), continues that Ministry and activism to this day, just in a different way.
These days Sister Indica can be found releasing albums and producing the audio drama Blazed All Our Lives.
